You can change permissions in your device settings. Disabling a permission may limit the related feature.

4. How we use information

Bovel does not sell personal information. Bovel does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, Bovel relies on: performance of our contract with you; your consent, including permission-based media and location features; legitimate interests such as service improvement, security, fraud prevention, and community integrity; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

6. How information is disclosed

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

7. Community content and moderation

Information you publish in community areas may be visible to other users and may be copied or reshared by them. Avoid posting precise private addresses, confidential information, or media you do not have permission to share.

Reports and related evidence may be reviewed to enforce community standards. Bovel may restrict distribution, remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or notify authorities when reasonably necessary. Blocking is designed to reduce interactions with a selected creator but may not prevent every form of visibility.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account and entitlements, satisfy legal and financial requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Services. Retention periods vary by data type and context. Safety records may be retained after account deletion when necessary to prevent repeat abuse, comply with law, or establish legal claims. Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed.

9. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection; withdraw consent; or appeal certain decisions. You may edit profile information, manage permissions, unlike content, block or unblock creators, and request account deletion through the Services where available.

To submit a privacy request, email privacy@bovel.app. We may verify your request and may decline or limit a request where permitted by law. Authorized agents must provide proof of authority. You may also contact your data-protection authority, attorney general, or other regulator. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

California notice

California residents may request to know, correct, or delete covered personal information and may obtain information about categories collected, sources, purposes, and recipients. Bovel does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by California law.

EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

You may have rights to object to or restrict processing and to receive portable data. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time.

10. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child has provided information without valid authorization, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Security and international transfers

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Services, law, or our practices. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update takes effect is subject to the revised Policy, except where consent is required.
